Not on the Beeb have also put together an extensive list of worldwide sports stars who’ve suffered severe adverse reactions or death

And I can add another one to that: Matt Selby, who plays rugby for Norwich, collapsed after a bleed on the brain.  They’re not saying it’s the jab but they do admit these kinds of injuries are very rare.

Those of us who play, or have played, the game we all love have always been reassured in the belief that serious rugby incidents are rare. In fact, having been associated with the game for over 50 years as a player, a coach and administrator, I can only recount one incident in which someone I knew suffered a potentially life-changing injury. That incident occurred on Saturday, 30th October when our captain Matt Selby collapsed following a scrum in which he and seven of his teammates held strong against a very powerful Brentwood eight.

Regrettably the nature of Matt’s injury necessitated his admission to hospital, where a CT scan showed that he had suffered a bleed on his brain. Matt remained in hospital until Thursday when he was discharged following good progress, which is the best news he, his family and everyone at Norwich RFC could have hoped to hear. We wish him all the best and look forward to seeing him back at the Club once he’s had time to fully convalesce.”
