Sydney, Australia – Activists have gathered every week for over 70 weeks consecutively. They resolve to gather every week until Julian Assange is free. Whilst originally conceived of back in November 2019 as a regular protest in Sydney Town Hall, the group has extended the protests to various locations. The current weekly protest details are available here

In addition to the regular protests, the group also hosts Monday gatherings and occasional outdoor art activations to engage the public.

While many think of protests as big boisterous rallies, these protests and art activations are focused on community building and raising awareness respectfully.

The media, both independent and mainstream, are welcome and invited to attend all events and to engage in dialogue with the activists.

Those who regularly attend can be regarded as the foremost grassroots Julian Assange activists in Sydney. They will keep fighting for Assange on the grassroots level every week, rain, hail or shine.
