Former Acting Senior Sergeant Krystle Mitchell, who resigned yesterday morning, did an interview last night on the YouTube channel Discernable
She told the interviewer that the majority of police officers are against the medical tyrannical they are ordered to enforce, and the idea that Daniel Andrews is popular is fanciful:
“I couldn’t be happier in terms of the work that I do on a daily basis.
“But behind that is all of my friends that are police officers, that are working the front line and are suffering every day enforcing CHO directions that a vast majority, or certainly a great majority, don’t believe in and don’t want to enforce..
“The consequences of me being here today is that I will be resigning from Victoria Police, effective at the end of this interview, because the consequences of me coming out publicly would be dismissal.”
Word is that scores of Victorian police officers are launching a class action against their sacking for defying the vaccine mandate coming into force on October 15. Similar legal challenges are underway by Queensland police officers. This would reinforce Miss Mitchell’s claim to be the founder of a group of officers opposed to mandatory vaccination, and rumours that the force is in turmoil.
This is also backed up by Victorian deputy Liberal leader David Southwick, who said police members had visited his office “in tears” over having to enforce public health rules:
“None of them signed up for this, it’s a tough job, and I sympathise with that front line – they’ve been forced by the Andrews Government to enforce some of the toughest rules that we’ve seen anywhere.
“This is not what members of Victoria Police signed up for.”
Daniel Andrews’ position is becoming increasingly untenable. He is under investigation from Victoria’s corruption commission IBAC. He has been publicly humiliated into paying a $400 fine after failing to wear a face mask outside, twice. Victoria’s mask mandate for schoolchildren as young as 8 in being openly criticised by the NSW government.
He has even lost the support of one of his most important union allies, CFMEU boss John Setka, who after having his head office ransacked by his own furious members several weeks ago, is now threatening legal action against the Victorian government’s vaccine mandate for construction workers.
