Retired Neurosurgeon Russell L Blaylock has published a scathing review of the covid-19 pandemic, stating it is “one of the most manipulated infectious disease events in history.” His article, published in the apolitical Surgical Neurology International Journal discusses how bureaucrats who have never treated a patient have removed the voice of highly qualified medical experts from the doctor-patient relationship.
The peer-reviewed, international medical journal is dedicated to neuroscience and neurosurgery, as well as discussions on controversial clinical, social, ethical and political subjects related to the neurosciences.
The aim of the publication is to ‘encourage debate so all sides of an issue can be heard, including the ability to challenge the validity of data and scientific methods in the pursuit of free inquiry, free exchange of ideas, and the quest for scientific truth.’
Importantly, the journal also aims “to counter medical misinformation, correct errors of fact and logic in the medical literature.”
These aims make what Mr Blaylock has to say all the more concerning and something that media outlets across the globe should be reporting on as a matter of urgency.
According to Blaylock and many highly reputable medical experts, politicians and everyday citizens across the world, the covid-19 pandemic has been “characterized by official lies in an unending stream lead by government bureaucracies, medical associations, medical boards, the media, and international agencies.”
“For the first time in American history a president, governors, mayors, hospital administrators and federal bureaucrats are determining medical treatments based not on accurate scientific based or even experience-based information, but rather to force the acceptance of special forms of care and “prevention” – including remdesivir, use of respirators and ultimately a series of essentially untested messenger RNA vaccines.”
But it is not just America witnessing this.
For example, in Australia politicians, health bureaucrats, organisations such as the police, educational institutions, and even grocery and retail chains – mandated vaccinations or threatened employees with unemployment. Unvaccinated citizens were refused entry to many locations, refused service and even described by one health bureaucrat as ‘taking up a disproportionate amount of oxygen.” A level of vilification not seen before – but bound to continue.
Mr Blaylock describes similar levels of disdain for Americans who made an informed decision not to receive a covid vaccine. He explained that “another tactic by the vaccine proponents is to demonize those who reject being vaccinated for a variety of reasons…These people have been labelled as “anti-vaxxers”, “vaccine-deniers”, “vaccine resisters”, “murder[ers]” “enemies of the greater good” and of “prolonging the pandemic.”
The vitriol directed toward those who have suffered an injury from a covid vaccine, or have lost loved ones because of the vaccine has no place in a civilised society. As Mr Blaylock explained, “the level of cruelty is terrifying and signifies the collapse of a moral, decent, and compassionate society. It is bad enough for the public to sink this low, but the media, political leaders, hospital administrators, medical associations and medical licensing boards are acting in a similar morally dysfunctional and cruel way.”
Australian doctors were silenced, threatened and some de-registered due to their opposing views on covid vaccines. These threats extended to doctors, nurses and pharmacists, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) releasing a joint statement with national medical boards as early as March 2021 warning practitioners to stick with the narrative.
In one statement published by the Sydney Morning Herald, representative Brett Simmonds of the medical and Pharmacy board said “there is no place for anti-vaccination messages in professional health practice, and any promotion of anti-vaccination claims including on social media, and advertising may be subject to regulatory action.”
This statement fails to account for individual patient circumstances and what the treating physician believes is in that patient’s best medical interests. It flies in the face of a doctor’s “obligation to do no harm [because] in the sacred doctor-patient relationship, the doctor must always be free to advise the patient as to what, in their professional opinion, is an appropriate procedure for the client.” It also flies in the face of the scientific method, which is constantly refining, amending, and testing findings.
One of a small number of voices in Australian politics that has raised continuous concerns around the response to the pandemic is that of Senator Gerrard Rennick. Senator Gerrard Rennick stated in a letter to AHPRA “it is deeply concerning that AHPRA and the National Boards are seemingly forcing doctors, nurses, and other health professionals to breach the principle of ‘informed consent’.”
The letter went on to say that:
With respect to COVID-19 vaccines, informed consent ensures that medical professionals fulfil their obligations to:
- Advise their patient of all potential and contested risks (for example, where adverse events have been reported and the authorities have decided that the administration of a vaccine could not possibly be related),
- Advise their patient of unknown risks and known benefits,
- Advise their patient that these vaccines have ‘provisional approval’ only (because, as the TGA states, long-term side effects are unknown),
- Advise their patient that it is well known that not all adverse events will be recorded when such reporting is voluntary,
- Ensure that the patient is not being coerced into taking the treatment, and
- Seek the voluntary consent of the patient.
Senator Rennick also pointed out that “AHPRA’s behaviour in threatening medical professionals with prosecution and regulatory action violates the Constitution that specially prohibits any form of civil conscription in the provision of medical and pharmaceutical benefits.”
As in Australia, American medical practitioners and experts were targeted by bureaucrats. American medical and scientific fields saw the removal of websites and of ‘highly credentialed and experienced clinical doctors and scientific experts in the field of infectious diseases [being] demonized, careers…destroyed and all dissenting information labelled as “misinformation” and “dangerous lies.”
This included when information had been “sourced from top experts in the fields of virology, infectious diseases, pulmonary critical care, and epidemiology…and backed by extensive scientific citations from some of the most qualified medical specialists in the world.”
Even experts such as Dr Michael Yeadon – retired ex-Chief Scientist and vice president for the science division of Pfizer Pharmaceutical in the UK have been demonized. This is despite previously charging Pfizer with making an extremely dangerous vaccine. According to Mr Blaylock, “other highly qualified scientists have stated that no one should take this [covid] vaccine.”
Perhaps one of the most well-known voices to come out of the pandemic information wars is that of Dr Peter McCullough. As one of the most cited experts in his field, it would be expected that Dr McCullough’s expert opinion would be highly sought after.
Mr Blaylock notes that Dr McCullough has successfully treated over 2,000 Covid patients using his early treatment protocol (completely ignored by many so-called experts).
Regardless of this success, Dr McCullough has and continues to be a victim of “a particularly vicious assault by those benefitting financially from the vaccines…and whom have never treated a single patient.”
These attacks come despite peer-reviewed publications by Dr McCullough which demonstrate promising results including an 80% reported reduction in hospitalizations and 75% reduction in deaths through early treatment.
Alarm bells continue to ring in Mr Blaylock’s article – ones that everyone should heed:
“Neither Anthony Fauci, the CDC, WHO nor any medical governmental establishment has ever offered any early treatment other than Tylenol, hydration and call an ambulance once you have difficulty breathing. This is unprecedented in the entire history of medical care as early treatment of infections is critical to saving lives and preventing severe complications. Not only have these medical organizations and federal lapdogs not even suggested early treatment, they attacked anyone who attempted to initiate such treatment with all the weapons at their disposal—loss of license, removal of hospital privileges, shaming, destruction of reputations and even arrest.”
The actions of medical boards in America which Mr Blaylock likens to methods used by Soviet-era KGB, (as well as those in Australia and elsewhere) should be of significant concern to the public.
Allegations of silencing the voices of dissenting doctors include removing doctors from positions as journal editors, and reviewers and even retracting scientific papers (including those already in print) from journals.
These actions fly in the face of free and fair democratic principles. As quoted by Richard Horton (doctor and editor for the Lancet) in the Guardian, “journals have devolved into information laundering operations for the pharmaceutical industry.”
‘‘Ghostwritten’ articles sponsored by pharmaceutical giants that have been proven as fraudulent have appeared (and remain) in top clinical journals such as JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine, despite proven manipulation of data.’
This issue is of such concern that medical ethicists have said “you can’t trust anything…orchestrated coverups occur daily and massive data exposing the lies being generated by these information controllers (media, bureaucrats) are hidden from the public.”
